Microsoft thinks it can build a useful quantum machine by 2029, and that was one of the biggest headlines in the market today. In tonight’s episode, I break down the Microsoft quantum news, what the new Majorana 2 chip could mean, and why the company’s 2029 timeline matters in the broader race to useful quantum systems. I also go through a strong day in the quantum market, where Infleqtion continued its momentum, Horizon Quantum pushed higher, Xanadu kept climbing, and several post-quantum cybersecurity names showed more strength. Outside of pure quantum, I also touch on names like Plug, IREN, and the trades I trimmed or rotated out of. Then we zoom out to the broader market backdrop. Major indices hit record closing highs again, AI enthusiasm remains strong, and the market still looks more balanced than euphoric based on fear-and-greed readings. I also share a cautionary note on frothy IPO conditions, including the very hot setup around Continuum. In the second half, I react to the Microsoft article and explain why the combination of AI, quantum, and increasingly aggressive corporate roadmaps matters so much. Microsoft Targets 2029 For Useful Quantum Computers | Quantinuum IPO, IBM Momentum continues

This is a huge week coming up for the quantum sector. In tonight’s episode, I break down the biggest catalysts ahead, including D-Wave’s first-ever Investor Day at the New York Stock Exchange and Quantinuum coming public through one of the most important quantum IPOs yet. We start with the recent U.S. government support for the quantum sector and look at how several of the major names have responded on the chart since that announcement. I walk through D-Wave, IBM, IonQ, Infleqtion, Quantinuum, and Rigetti, and explain what I’m watching next for each one. For D-Wave, the focus is clearly on Investor Day and whether the company gives new information around commercial momentum, the Fortune 100 customer, Anduril, or additional roadmap details. For IBM, the story keeps getting bigger as the company leans harder into quantum with a massive investment push, a strong roadmap, and a rapidly changing narrative around commercialization. For IonQ, I revisit the roadmap, Boulder expansion, SkyWater angle, and why the stock continues to show leadership even without being named directly in the recent government cohort.
